LB: I couldn't do it without my partner, though!

CN: Speaking of partners...do you remember how you told your best friend that you're ladybug?

LB: You know at first I said it was really risky but it's really helped me out. You can tell someone too, remember? I assumed you already did.

CN: I never did, actually. I always thought the person I fell in love with would know. BUT my civilian identity is hard to date. So I haven't really met anyone who's fully stuck--which is why I had a BRILLIANT idea. I'll date people as my HERO persona.

LB: Wait, wait, wait. What do you mean your civilian identity is "hard to date"? Aren't you a total casanova?

CN: I think you mean...cat-sanova. Heh.

LB: oh my god.

CN: I guess you could say I'm sooort of in the public eye?

LB: Like...famous?

CN: Well...

LB: Chat. On a scale of one to ten, 1 being some averaje joe and ten being darling of Paris, Adrien Agreste.

CN: [nervously] Uh...seven?

LB: Oh, so pretty famous, huh. Well, I trust you, minou. Just don;t do anything stupid and make me look bad. Anyways, it's kind of a good idea.

CN: Really?

LB: Yeah.

TOWNIES THROUGH TIME - DON LOTHARIO

When it came to brainstorming inspiration for a time travelling Don there was one and only inevitability - history's most certified lover boy, Casanova. Giacomo Casanova was an 18th century adventurer, author and notorious womaniser, so it was the perfect fit!

Slytherin Boys W/ Ballerina!Reader as Pas De Deux 🩰

SO I'm back at it again with more ballet stuff! Last time I did headcanons for Mattheo if he was dating a ballerina. This time however, we're going down the route of what Pas De Deux (pair dance) the boys would do with a ballerina reader if they danced together.

White Swan Pas De Deux (Swan Lake)

Choosing one for our boy Enzo was EXTREMELY difficult because I secretly headcanon him being a danseur already so picking just one dance for him was hard. I went with the famous white swan pas de deux from Swan Lake where he is the role of Prince Siegfried and the reader is Odette. It's a beautiful, and heartbreaking pas de deux where Odette and Siegfried get to know each other better with it ending in Odette putting her trust in Siegfried to make a vow of true love in order to free her from Von Rothbart's spell. (In this video the pas de deux is performed by famous dancers Svetlana Zakharova and Roberto Bolle. The part at 5:09 where he embraces her makes we weeeeeeep)

Giselle act 2 Pas De Deux (Giselle)

For Theo's I decided to play a little into the headcanon of him being a casanova and went the route of Giselle. Theo's character would be Albrect (sometimes known as Count Albrect, Duke Albrect, or in other versions Prince Albrect) the reader's character is Giselle, who died of a broken heart when she found out Albrect was bethrothed to another woman. Another beautiful and heartbreaking piece as Giselle is trying to protect Albrect until dawn from the wrath of the willis (spirits of young maidens that died before marriage) who wish to make him dance to his death. The queen of the willis Myrtha uses Giselle to lure Albrect away from the safety of her tombstone by making her dance a seductive pas de deux that lures him in like a siren singing a song. (In this video the pas de deux is danced once again by famous dancers Svetlana and Roberto. They're one of my favorite dance partner pairings!)

Sugarplum and Cavalier (The Nutcracker)

My first fictional love, I had to give Draco one of my favorite pas de deux which is from The Nutcracker between the sugarplum fairy and her cavalier. I don't think I need to explain which roles these two are, it's a beautiful piece with beautiful music performed near the end of the story. (I've inserted my FAVORITE rendition of this dance performed by famous dancers Anna Tsygankova and Matthew Golding)

Black Swan Pas De Deux (Swan Lake)

When it comes to my headcanons I said that Mattheo liked Don Quixote and Giselle, but this man also in my headcanon has an absolute WEAKNESS for Swan Lake. So when he gets to be the part of Siegfried and the reader is playing Odile? He's absolutely giddy because this pas de deux is alluring and seductive as Odile is playing poor Siegfried like a fiddle making him believe she's actually Odette. (For this video the pas de deux is danced by one of my favorite dancers Gillian Murphy with Angel Corella)

I could've easily went full delulu and gave Tommy a pas de deux, but come onnnnn. I'm giving this man the role he was MADE FOR. The opening scene from ABT's Swan Lake. He's the role of the sorcerer Von Rothbart while the reader is Odette. So enchanted by the beautiful princess he runs into in the woods he tries to charm her only to find her displeased and so what does he do? Takes her for his own and changes her into the form of a swan to keep her close to him. (For this video it's from ABT's Swan Lake they recorded back in the early 2000's with Gillian Murphy as Odette, Marcelo Gomes as the handsome human Von Rothbart and Isaac Stappas as Von Rothbart's other form)

Nikiya and Solor act 1 (La Bayadere)

I'm not too familiar with Blaise, so forgive me everyone but I didn't want to leave him out. I chose my favorite pas de deux from La Bayadere where Blaise would be Solor a warrior and the reader is Nikiya a beautiful temple dancer. The two are secret lovers that are reunited and dance together before swearing their love under the sacred flame. (For this one I went with yet again Svetlana and Roberto because they ATEEEEEE this pas de deux up with their chemistry alone!)

FLAMING HOT TAKE INCOMING, DISCLAIMER FIRST: punch out is a game with no lore and little to no characterization so it’s natural that different people have different takes on a character and I 10000% respect that and I love seeing how people interpret stuff differently from me!!!!! this is not a dig or a diss this is just personal observation!!!!!!!!!!

i don’t get why the overall fandom consensus is that don flamenco is head over heels in love with the blonde lady [that the fandom calls Carmen (this I do understand why)] in his cinematic trailer. it’s always been apparent to me that this guy is supposed to be like a casanova/serial womanizer/harem enthusiast douchebag kinda guy.

1. country of origin and profession: every enemy character in this game is supposed to be an exaggerated cultural stereotype/caricature, so it’s natural to assume that most of their character traits are not meant to subvert audience expectations, and flamenco is no exception! Spaniards are stereotyped as carelessly romantic, and toreadors seem to be associated with more socially conservative or dare I say, sexist/woman objectifying behavior. it would be logical to presume that flamenco also embodies these traits

2. contender intro slideshow: most people (and I as well) like to use the final slide of his contender intro as evidence of his romantic status. however, I fail to see how it shows him as faithful; on the contrary, the fact that the girls around “Carmen” are a. (for one of them) also wearing roses - the same color as the one he’s giving her, in fact - and b. clearly looking shocked and disgusted seems to show me that those girls were also the object of flamenco’s short-lived affection and that the blonde girl is just his next “target” so to speak.

now how to justify his in-battle voice lines referring to his affection for carmen? well look no further than Carmen, the opera by Bizet, where the titular Carmen ends up being with a toreador (like don flamenco). it could be possible that he uses “Carmen” as a pet name for all of his flings rather than the actual name of his one true love

please feel free to prove me wrong bc I see nobody else with this interpretation and I wanna know why everyone agrees that he’s a faithful boyfriend/malewife lmao

your thoughts on Don Juan are nothing short of incredible.I agree with everything you said, lots of things I had never thought of before and genuinely thanks for that long ass answer. I now want to chew and spit out DJ, mildly obsessed with him. But I think I was maybe going for a more superficial, I guess a broad character type from an acting pov (I don’t rly know shit about this) maybe. Them being fundamentally unlikeable characters (idc what you say Casanova is creepy) who fuck, who have questionable morals but who are almost relied on, to charm and seduce the audience (impression I get is the badingham dude is also kind of similar). I mean as a performance one, relies a lot on, amongst other things, a lot of charisma.

thank you, dj is so fascinating and fucked up and i need to slam dunk him into a trash can. i'm actually not sure how i can compare him from a superficial acting perspective (ie. specific character mannerisms) given how i watched don juan in soho from a recording that looked like this

although yeah i think i can see what you mean. kilgrave, dj, and (probably) tony baddingham are all in that genre of "character that is a very horrible guy but are still dripping with this insane charisma and you can't take your eyes off of them".. w/ casanova i feel like he isn't as actively bad as those other three (vibewise he's played with "silly little charmer" energy that reminds me a little more of ten vs "morally void bastard of a man") but the trope does apply to him too + especially if you factor in the scenes with the older casanova. also in all honesty i spent most of casanova's runtime thinking to myself "what in the world is rtd cooking. what did he mean by this" before getting to the very end and going "ohhhh. fuck"

Alden’s waiting for Nick when he gets back on dryland. It’s five in the morning and the other man has the engine running and a takeout mug of coffee ready when he slips into the car. He’s beyond exhausted. He’s spent the night in his bunk thinking about you, the situation you’re in, this asshole Casanova.

“How she’s doing?” He asks Alden as he takes a sip of coffee.

“She was still asleep when I left.” Alden tells him as he pulls away from the curb. “I get the impression she hasn’t been doing a lot of that since you’ve been on the Allegiance.”

Nick takes another sip of coffee, the caffeine starting to awaken his system. Truthfully he doesn’t do a lot of sleeping either when you’re not beside him. He misses the press of your body against his, the sound of your breathing in the night.

“Yea, me neither.” Nick says, his palm rubbing over the nape of his neck. There’s silence between the two of them, it hangs there before Alden says.

“I didn’t know about his Casanova business, not until yesterday.” He tells the younger man. “If I’d known…”

“I don’t blame you.” Nick responds, his voice curt from overtiredness. “In fact I’m grateful to the both of you for being there when I couldn’t, for giving her a place to stay.”

“She’s important to us, you both are. If someone’s messing with her, they’re messing with us.” Alden says firmly as he pulls into the parking lot of his apartment building. He leaves the car idling before he takes the spare key out of his pocket and hands it to Nick. “Why don’t you head on up? Lisa and I will give you a little space to get some sleep, talk about what’s going on.”

“Thank you.” Nick says quietly, staring down at the key in his hand. “I mean that.”

When he lets himself into Alden’s apartment there you are asleep on the couch, wearing one of his t-shirts, your hand resting on the pillow. The blanket is tucked against your chest, clutched there in a fist. There’s an ache in his chest because someone wants to hurt you, to take you from him and Nick, he will die before he lets that happen.

He drops his go-bag quietly alongside the door before he lowers himself to his knees alongside the couch. His fingertips brush your hair back behind your ear and you stir underneath his touch.

“I'm home now, mi amor.” He whispers. “I promise you everything’s going to be alright.”
